How to Choose a Photographer for Your Dance School Concert

Look at their stage work
Lots of photographers are great with portraits or weddings, but stage lighting is its own skill. Ask to see full galleries from real concerts, not just a highlight reel of their best five shots.
Ask how they work with the venue
A good concert photographer knows to avoid flash, agrees on positions with the venue and stays out of the audience's line of sight.
